Drinking alcohol kicks you out of ketosis because your liver prioritizes the breakdown of alcohol to get it out of your system. Most wine, beer, and mixed drinks are loaded with sugars which are a no-go on the Keto diet. 1 gram of sugar = 1 gram of carbs.
